Royal Arsenal Riverside Emporium in SE18 (RARE in SE18)
The Royal Arsenal is a unique place to live (RARE you might say) because it combines community, diversity, historic significance and modern progress all in one place.
We really love living here but have found it frustrating for the following reasons:

Initially we had no idea who was responsible for what.

We don't know what's going on until it's too late.

We don't feel we have a say about things concerning the development.

It's time consuming searching through various publications and websites to find out about things.
We want to change all that!
There is already a fantastic community in the Royal Arsenal with residents and businesses setting up Facebook pages to inform people about a variety of things. Berkeley Homes, Rendall & Rittner and the Estate Management are working hard to maintain the development and organise 'drop-in clinics' to meet residents as well as introducing Rendall & Rittner Online. Our intention isn't to replace any of this: we just want to enhance it. By consolidating everything, new residents can immediately find out about what is available on the development and around the area and existing residents can save time by having everything in one place. An Emporium is a place where you can go for everything as it's all under one roof - hence the reason behind the name of this site and the meaning behind RARESE18. If it's easy to find up to date information, and easy for people to share what they do; it's easier to become involved and the community grows.
As we live on the development we have a vested interest in ensuring the Royal Arsenal offers the best experience to all of its residents. Our perspective is going to be different to those working on the development; one isn't better than the other, it's just different. The development is evolving and we are committed to making sure this site evolves too, whilst listening to what residents want.
We ask you to Jump on Board so we can be proactive in keeping you informed of offers and events. We promise we won't bombard your inbox nor will your details be sold on. Afterall, we want this website to help you, not cause you a headache!
